Factors affecting the FFB price of independent smallholder oil palm farmers in Jambi Province

Smallholder plantations play an important role in oil palm development Jambi Province with a contribution of 70.47 percent to the total area and 57.10 production. Most smallholder are self-managed by independent smallholders whodo not get technical guidance from either government or private sector. Various problems found smallholders, one which is discrimination price fresh fruit bunches (FFB) their produced. Price does only occur between plasma farmers, but also occurs smallholders. This study seeks express empirically differences analyze factors that influence it. Data were collected 240 respondents spread across 12 villages 3 districts production centers analyzed multiple linear regression model. The results concluded there significant difference prices received farmers among significantly influenced quality factor seeds used, amount fertilizer use, experience farming marketing channels used.
